yes the seas still there in the warren ,heard of dogfish being caught so again chucked my bait in the sea in one go rather than waste it on the cursed bloody doggies.

a camper walked up to the second apron and fished on the bottom for 2 small bass and an eel (strangely a lot about in pools on the beach all freshwater ones and about 6" long)

had a few walks with a spinning rod to no avail no sign of mackeral or herring that were about on the tuesday (we arrived wednesday :rolleyes: ) before the wind got up for the next fooking ten days but as soon as the tent was taken down so did the wind! typical granger luck!

the apron was empty most times obviously the word got around

new shoal of rocks at copt but a lot of mud showing for the fossil hunters everywhere else

they have been playing havoc with my limited trips but alas its good to see such amazing wildlife(otters espec)

 

orkney is an amazing place and the sea trout taste gooooood!

 

sod fishing for mini fish on the english beaches again:)

sod everyone else,do it anyway:)

 

sod duck season lets have tvla season!

I was wondering why they disappeared.

 

Hopefully they will be back next week :)

lots of bait fish having spazzes along the "prom" at the warren so i guess there's bass about ,the reason there was no mackeral about is simply that i took a smoker with me so had an interest is going after them ,usually i dont bother and your tripping over them not that i arrived wednesday :P :P

sod fishing for mini fish on the english beaches again:)

buy a big freezer and put seals to good use ,otters too if they are tasty?

saw a seal last october at the warren but hadnt packed me club

 

orkneys fine in the 3 months they call summer but you wont be so bloody smarmy when your dinkle freezes off and the wind turns your hair ginger :P

 

ps does the bloke next door fancy surrey?
