Keeping baits fresh til next match

Hi

 

I have some maggots and worms (still in tub), what's best way to keep these fresh til the next match in 2 weeks time, I have a fridge if that helps

Turn the maggots into casters or freeze them dead and use them like this in a feeder, The worms if kept moist (not sodden and in a dark cool enviroment can last for months. i prefer to just put them in a bucket rather than a little tub. Small point with the worms check them daily and remove any dead ones otherwise you'll lose the lot.

everytime i catch a fish i'm lucky when i blank i'm a hopeless angler.

The key to keeping worms for long periods of time is to keep them at a constant, cool temperature.

 

As for maggots, do as said.

dont no about maggots but worms are easly keept fresh wene in a cool place like a chiller tray in a fridge
