great stuff

A great thing happened last week, an old freind of mine came to visit me on the bank he being a non fisher, was amazed at the amount of effort and detail that comes with fishing, so i asked if he would like to have a go, i set up a rod for him, just a simple running ledger corn on the hook, and a pva full of goodies, he sat himself down on the floor, and didnt take his eye off the rod for the next few hours apart from a little lesson on casting, the fishing was hard, none of us had a fish so about 1pm, we moved to the other side of the lake and set up again, he had to leave at 3pm, and as luck would have it, i caught a small common, he hadnt ever seen a fish, and was well happy just to have seen it, we said our goodbyes and this morning he rang me, saying he had bought some wellies and asked if i could take him fishing, so we are going to ceffn in the morning, and he is also bringing his son, welcome to the wonderfull world of angling Gary.

cheers bill, but the cridit goes to gary and his son, they picked it up without too many tangles :D

i was affraid they would lose interest as it was a cold day, and as paul said it was hard going, but no they both are going to take angling up, so im well pleased.

also karl my son did a great job helping with baiting up and casting lessons for garys son reise
