Help Please Top Section Of Rod

Hi Guys/Girls I am looking for a top section for my rod which broke and do not know where to find this section.

 

The Rod is a Concept Match Rod 18/20 Leeda MODEL M1035

 

If anyone could help me I will be most grateful.

I have spoke to Leeda , and they say my rod is discontinued, is there any one out there with spears pleas. they suggest the rods replacement is over £200.

 

Please help this rod has sentimental value.

I didn't think that Leeda made a rod worth £200.00!! Sounds like E-Bay is the answer although I suspect you'll have to buy a whole rod just to get a spare tip.

Broken tips is a recurring post. Basically you're options are to buy a whole new rod or have it repaired.

You'll loose some of the action with a repair.

 

The only time I've see spare rod tips for sale they've been for Shimano feeder rods.

 

When buying a new rod (as opposed to a second hand Ebay one where they're likely to be discontinued) I'd enquire about spare tips and buy one immediately. It seems to be the most common breakage where a repair has a noticebale impact on performance.

thank you for your reply I will not be on my PC for a few days so heres hoping some one may have a spare.

 

I have done a repair to the section yet to whip the eyes no BUT I know I will have lost the action of the tip section.
