For my light feeder work I use a garbolino rocket picker (not to be confused with the rocket carp picker). Its a great little rod and has very sensitive tips that come with it, great for roach and bream. It will easily handle carp to 9lbs as I have had a few that size on it. It is also very cheap and very light. Maybe worth a look.

If thats the 10ft ive got the same and can vouch for it also .

Sorry just realised im replying to an old post thats not relavant now

Quick question, which is the more sensitive tip, red or green? Or are they the same?

The colour of the tips is only relevant to each rod, there is no colour code of weights for quivertips unfortunately, even though i think there should be!

The only real way to tell the difference between them is to feel which is bigger and therefore heavier, or hang two identical weights off each end and see which bends more, the one which beds more is therefore lighter and the other one heavier.

Or just contact the manufacturer of the rod and ask them! :D

As famous fisherman John Gierach once said "I used to like fishing because I thought it had some larger significance. Now I like fishing because it's the one thing I can think of that probably doesn't."

Sorry not been on much lately, set the rod up sit on a chair as if fishing and get a friend or relative to lightly touch the tip while keeping your eyes shut just feel...

Set the rod up with line as if fishing put up some rests put the rod in them even the back of two chairs can work set the weights and then double the weight and gently touch the line yourself watching the tip you will soon learn which tip is the most sensitive.

You will very quickly also learn that feeling is as important to fishing as seeing is when detecting bites.

Sadly many manufacturers do not mark weights on tips and colours are nothing to go by.
