ooh yeah, a new PB for me!

went fishing today to my local river and baited up a likely looking barbel swim with hemp and maggots at 6.30 this morning.i then set up a maggot feeder with hemp in and cheese on the hook. first cast i had 2lb 8oz barbel! not very big, i hear you say, but it is big for me and it went like a rocket once hooked, taking line every time it could. ooh yeah, i'm well happy

Well done mate, I'm still to catch a barbel, even after 25 years fishing, so I'm pretty jealous!

Well that's 2lb 8oz heavier than any barbel I've ever caught!
