Friday is coming!

This friday i am intending on fishing Belmont pond which is a very old pond which is nearly never fished. I am told there is monster perch and carp in here though.

 

SO: How do i go about tackling this old pond? Shall i use groundbait? What bait should i use?

im not an expert but i would stay of the groundbait. i fish a really old pond by me and grounbait kills the day.

 

I would try a worm for both species.

if its not fished much (strange these misteriouse ponds are always full of huge fish but rarely fished :confused: ) use natural baits like worms ,maggots etc bread is always good ,travel light and move round finding out the good places etc.
