Dear All,

 

Apart from libelous asides and hot coffee in private parts, Chris highlighted a very important fact concerning the growing popularity of fishing websites. And that is, they ARE growing and a lot MORE anglers are coming towards this medium.

 

Indeed, angling generally is going to owe a huge dept of gratitude to Elton and guys just like him who have rode the rough ride to get to where we all are today. Without their determination and fortitude, we would all still be waiting for the weeklies to drop on the doormat.

 

This webland medium is growing and is eventually going to grow beyond our wildest dreams.

 

Elton on here, has worked to build something for all anglers to enjoy. But it remains the responsibility of all those who post on the AN forums to remember the spirit on which Elton built this site.

 

I truely believe that this spirit dwells within the hearts and minds of all anglers. No matter where we fish or for what species we choose to fish for, we are all bonded together within a common circle. It remains this passion, this undying love of being within watery places catching fish that calls us all to take part.

 

We are anglers. We are brothers and sisters.

 

We share the same dreams, the same calling.

 

And when we come together either to fish or talk, please let us all remember that.
