Has anyone any information about this venue and how it's fishing at the moment?

There are numerous match reports in the Tangling times every week and that will keep you up to date as is possible without actually fishing it.

If you mean the moat pool, I fished there in a match last saturday after the frost the night before and it wasn't fishing that weel.

Out of 22 in my match 9 people caught, the winning weight was 5lb, that was on the island facing the little pond. Some people on the opposite side had a cou[ple of carp which weren't a bad size.

 

Hope this helps. p.s. The winner was fishing about 9 or 10 metres out on the pole in the deeper water, and I was getting the little uns fishing far out on the waggler about 2ft over depth.

Try the Bridge pool.It's a bit patchy at the moment.Pegs 12 - 17 are producing using feeder or pole at 10mts+.Fished a match Sat 26/10/02.The winning weight was 16lbs+ with back up of 13lbs+ down to 7+ 8lbs.Maggot seems to be the bait using light tackle.Best of luck.
