Due to all the rain we've been having i presume that the rivers are a bit high as anyone been fishing the rivers and having any luck?

My local rivers Aire and Wharfe are both rising so I've not bothered this weekend...he says guiltily. Have you been?

no!!! the local rivers (dove dane trent seven) are running high and not fishing very well

Well the Kennet's just fine - I had a grand day roving a venue above Newbury - half a dozen fine chub to 3½lb and nice 1¼lb perch, 4 nuisance brownies and 4 dozen dace & roach added up to a satisfying days sport!

The rivers around here are all running to the brim, so I didn't bother, there's canals and mud pools but don't like them much, so I stayed in bed, loooverly
