Recommended Posts

Ok my partner came back from shopping today with a bag of Betaine groundbait aditive, from the pound shop in the high street of all places.

I have seen this going on ebay but have never used it.

Has anybody used it? Is it any good.

Cheers Mark

hi mark 1

ive been using betain alot over the last year or so, i add it to everything, and if nothing else it adds that little bit of confidence, it is a feeding stimulant that actually gets the fish looking for food, sort of like us smelling toast, dont use to much though, i add about a 1/4 of a tea spoon per pint of maggots and the same for a tin of corn, and the same to a standard groundbait bag.

ive been trying to hunt down the poundland stuff but i havnt found any yet here in newport, i paid £7.50 for a very small pot, so a big bag from poundland would be most welcome, if you can get your partner to get another bag, mail me and i will grab it from you.
