Not used it for a while but it can get you out off the occasional bit of trouble.

been musing over it though ,it asks for the CD to reinstall changed or corrupted files why doesn't it look at the various CAB files in service packs on your machine to install a newer version?

if you use SFC does this mean your machine never has the updated versions unless you reinstall the updates all over again?
