Big Perch

Someone asked in a recent post where all the big perch were.Heres a few My friend and I caught recently.

 

This one is 3Lb 12 oz

 

This one is a 3Lber

 

This one is my mates 3Lb 12ozer

Most of my specimen Perch are caught on Mepps Aglia No1's.

I will do a piece soon on big Perch hunting,methods,where to find them etc.

It has taken me a while to suss the biggies but I,m taking 2Lb plus Perch on every visit now.

My friend David (pictured above) and I have been seen to take 30 or so 2Lb plus Perch in under half an hour.

It took a while but the rewards are well worth it as you can see.

 

PS: Just dont ask where that location is...its a bloody secret.

Iv'e had quite a lot out lately on small rubber grubs but nothing over 2lbs for a long time. Have you looked at Steve Burkes PerchFisher site yet ,worth a look. http://www.tdvan.freeserve.co.uk/theperchfishers.htm

Well Andy , do you think you have found a secret method or just a venue with lots of Big Perch

Sorry Steve, i didn't know . I just always connect you with clonking great Perch and the Perch Fishers.

I have read one of your articles online just the other week. It was thrown up in a web search for something like Big Perch or Perch Baits? i can't remember now.Where can i find the others,is it fronm the A.N. home page? i don't often go there unless i'm skipping through to look at the auction pages, i should take a look at more things i guess,Regards Richard.
