I think the "I have chosen to treat both you and your remark with the contempt you justifiably deserve" bit applies again!

May what ails you get better quickly.

How sad, too bad, never mind.

I think that if some of you re read the Joint PAC Statement it will answer some of the questions. Earlier on in this thread I was asked why the SACG got involved, well to put it simply it was to help draw the whole unfortunate episode to some form of conclusion. BOTH parties were very concerned about the potential damage this could have on the sport and felt it was time to sit down face to face in an attempt to bring the issue to a close. SACG's role was as honest broker (and referee if needed). Suffice to say both parties knew that a conclusion was needed and throughout the evening worked very hard and very professionaly to bring this about, I was proud of them and feel that they deserve everyones support. No individual or club should be seen as either the winner or loser in a situation like this, but I'm sure lessons have been learn't and hopefully the sport will be all the stronger for it.

Respect to all.

Alan.

And nobody stepped in at that point but I feel I have to now.

Here's a definition of the word 'CONTEMPT'

1 a : the act of despising

1 b : the state of mind of one who despises

A very strong word with a very mean looking description.

Or are you just all fellow anglers?

Ian.

Ian,

Here's another

"scorn"

A fair response to the equally scornful remark made in 'Bobbyf's' post.

It is to that use of the word 'contempt' I refer and well you know it!

Your cheap inference does you no credit at all and is more than a little mischevious to say the least!

If I had any doubts about the advisabity of withdrawing from this thread, which I have attempted to do on more than one occasion, these doubts have now been eliminated by your last post.

Happy now?

Yours in Sport

Mac

Actually Mac I was not inferring anything ... I just thought I'd step in and ask people to MODERATE their own language before anyone else does that on their behalf.

No mischief involved ... just a little forum moderation.

Ian.

Ian,

I am happy to let people make up their own mind on that one!
