Hi folks,

 

anyone fished, have info on Tixall Wide on the Staffs and Worcs Canal;Species, day tickets ect.

 

We'll be around the area next week and it looks too good a spot to miss.

thanks for the comments folks - though have to say Tixall is more of a lake than a canal. When the canal was built the owner of the land, a vip and NIMBY of the time, objected to a common trade route running through his property. To placate hin the canal was widened out to appear more like an ornamental lake.
