Does anyone actually know whether it is worth fishing for pike in the canal?

there is one way to find out where to fish for pike in sheffield

we all meet up some where in about 3 weeks to have a chat about where to fish then go fishing for them

i've fished flask and underbank for years, some very nice pike in there if you can find them, you dont need big lures either, i usually have most joy using size 3 or 4 mepps, or something similar. never tried the canal though. also i've never heard of zander round here, but might be worth a few casts!
