Try a piece of bread flake, should pick up the bigger fish but you might have to wait a bit longer for the bites.

What do you call Big? Are you fishing a water that contains big Bream? Are there a lot of them in the water or just a few among smaller shoal bream? What type and density of other species are present?

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Try using barbel fishing tactics for big bream.

Although I could not understand why anyone would want to target them instead of barbel.

I can't stand the things.

I often catch them up to eight pounds when fishing deeper slow swims,to my annoyance.

I think that they seem to get on the pellet when I use a lot off hemp.

I try to avoid them, but if I used a smaller hook I would probably catch even more.
