im not certain but ive found that when i look through magazines stapeley water gardens always seem low, or fishermans friend.

Can't see anything to beat £96.

Usually I look to the US ... $155 including shipping from the US, plus £15 on top of that for customs, so Diamonds £96 looking the best option so far.

Would strongly recommend the Daiwa Capricorn over the Stradic after reading opinions across the web, but you've probably held the Stradic and like it. I own a Capricorn... lovely reel, but have never owned the new Stradic, so I guess the point's mute.

I use Stradic 4000 FGs bought in the US these are beautiful reels.Front drag.I assume FAs are similar if so, a good choice. I only paid about 40 quid each in America but there you go!
