Hi all,

 

Ive decided to do a weekender at linear in the next couple weeks depending on the weather conditions being the uk anything can happen weather wise ...

 

so i was hoping for some advice and tips on rigs and baiting as its my forst time goin to the place.

See if you can get some 'Total fishing' episodes on TV as that's where they always went. I think it would narrow it down for us if you tell us what species you are fishing for?

St Johns is known for responding to heavy baiting (spodding), and back when I was fishing there in the early 00's, Manor was very difficult with st johns being a lot easier, I don`t know if its changed much since, as the last time I was there was in 2003

oh yeah sorry forgot to mention what fish ... carp i want to try and beat my pb of 15lb and my mates trying to beat his pb of 23lb

I think Manor then but in general they are everywhere but if you are after Esox definately St Johns!
