  11. i usually use the korda long shank x but as most waters are barbless only rule i crush the barbs until its totally smooth and safe for the carp and ill always show the bailliff to double check its ok to use like that.. i jus do that by running my small finger over it .. ive caught lots of carp using a blowback with the long shank x hooks

  16. Hi i only been match fishing a year so any advice on the venue and how to fish it would be great.. ive never fished there before so anythign will help me .. the match is next sunday 6th november i was thinking maybe havin a pole line as you always should and maybe chuckin a cage feeder out aswell ..
  17. I was thinking about buying a cheap avanti margin pole .. has anyone got any good or bad feedback about the quality of the poles as in how light or heavy they are .. or the quality of the carbon used .. how easily they break .. any info will be great thanks alot ..
  18. im writing about the preston innovation banjo feeders because i have been useing them since there launch date and have had a few problems with them. ive used pellets and groundbait but nomatter what the consistancy of either it jus doesnt stick to the feeder via the mould . but if you use sticky pellets and stuff it in the feeder by hand it seems to work . maybe its because the feeders themselves dont have any ridges to hold the bait to the feeder like the original feeders have. theres nothing to grip the bait really the mould just keeps hold of it better then the feeder does.. i dont think its just me .. so if youve used them id like to hear back from you either good or bad feedback is welcome.. Richard
  19. thanks for the input i agree i wouldnt bother wasting my time on the tip in the colder weather ..i would rather use the pole and bag the silvers.. i was thinking about useing caster and worm ? n maybe some 4mm expanders for back-up aswell as some maggots ..
