pond paint

Recommended Posts

I have a raised pond that was treated with pond paint and had doubts if it would be any good. Several years have passed and it is still good with no leaks or seepage, and the paint has not flaked, peeled,or cracked. I got about a pint of a commercial brand for about a tenner and it does seem to go a long way as I thought I would need more. I cant remember the brand but it was bought from my local aquatic shop.

There is also a commerial additive you can add to concrete to make it waterproof, and it may be worth adding a skim of this before painting.
