Last night I cleaned out one of the aquariums, the undergravel was playing up, not enough plants.

 

I have three Jerdoni Barbs and as I tried to net one another jumped over my arm and onto the floor, 4' down.

 

My good lady said "Fish and chips tonight by the looks of it"

 

Picked him up and put him back the standby tank and he is fine.

Women (no offence to any female readers) can be so untactile to us and our hobbies. my own good lady(cough,cough) is the very same!

He is still going strong tonight will be back in his own tank tomorrow evening.

 

Hell of a job cleaning the big tank, have refilled and planted 50 new plants.

 

Can't find any cryps anywhere one of the fastest growing ground cover plants, huge root system and devours loads of nutrients.

glad your fish is ok, becky cleaned out eric the dannio's tank at the weekend, he was the last one & it seemed so final. tis sad seening all the little fishy playthings spread on the patio, drying out.

 

havn't seen eric & eric the goldfish for days now since the cold weather came, they go deep. but they are still ok as the food is going.

 

i cover their pond with bundles of water reed when the real cold frost comes, it keeps them happy
