Blackpool Fishing

Ello,

First time i've been on here as i've only just took an interest in sea fishing. I've done some coarse fishin with me pal but fancy fishing at Blackpool.

I've heard that Gynn Square is ok to fish from but was just looking for a bit of advice really.

1. is it best going to fish a couple of hours before high tide?

2. What bait is best to use

3. has anyone fished from here

4. what can i expect to catch if anything

5. do i fish at the bottom as the tide comes in

 

if you could help i'd be gratefull

5 bar gate at cleveleys, in evening/dusk fishing the tide up, fish close to the tideline and follow it up to the prom. SMOOTHOUNDS!!!

can you still fish off the pier, I had my first mackeral bonanza at blackpool from the pier.

erm i think you can off 1 of the piers, dont ask me which 1

the jetty got washed away from north pier a few years back, but i imagine you can still fish off the upper tier at the end.
