Excell 2010 Help

hi all am working on a game calculator and using excell but now hit a wall as I have used an older version and had the help of a few mates but now have no contact with them. The way it works on the older format is =IF(H3>1,(INDEX(CountProp,(MATCH(0,CountMoney,0)-1),1)-H9),0)

 

but now when i use it in 2010 it come up with -1000 instead of 0 for the entered cell :@ and I am starting to loose patience can anybody give me a hand ?

 

its a bit hard to explain as I didnt do this section of the Spread sheet but if anybody can help I would greatly appreciate you

The problem is unlikely to be the IF function. That formula appears to check a condition and depending on the result return either 0 or a number looked up in a table. It's using index, which looks up a value in a range using an offset, and match to determine the offset. I would say that the operation of either one of offset or match have changed or else the values in the range bring looked up have changed.

The data has been transfered onto an new workbook could this be the problem ? i could send you the file to see if you could help ? be extreamly greatfull if you could ? many thanks
