had a bit better success today. got the scars to prove it too

 

Andy Macfarlane popped over for a bit so i grabbed the lure rod and we headed to the canal on my door step. i had the first pike of about 3lb which decided to thrash and cut me. Andy got 2 swipes then later got one around 9 or 10lb mark. so what ever the reason for the roach, rudd and perch going off the feed its certainly not stopped a pikes appetite
