As we only got Freeview in Kent on 27th June.

 

Invested in a new digital indoor aerial to plug into the new Smart TV.

the old flats i live in got its old communal aerial upgraded to digital before the switch over. got points in ever room now and its just great, full signal every time and never drops.

Did I hear that the new 4G network, when it's up and running, will be messing up the Freeview signal, meaning viewers will need to buy some extra gear costing a couple of hundred quid to counteract it?

basically signal boosters will be needed. they cost £10 but installation would be around £150 for people who wouldnt be able to install it themselves .

But don't hold your breath for 4G coming to the UK real soon now.
