Good Advice i use a very similar setup my self the only difference is that i put a piece of shrink tube & a free running 8mm rubber bead about 6 feet from the swivel

so when the carp runs this helps set the hook its safe due to the fact if a break occurs any lead etc can slide off the line.

 

i caught 53 fish in 1 week using this method this year in france
