Hi al,

 

l've got a free Friday this week - and looking for somwhere to go - was hoping to be chasing big dace - alas the brownies are spawning (very late this year) so we can't get on the venue. So Paul and I are casting around for a back up plan and I suggested LIF - be interested to hear of any recent catch reports?? Anyone fished it this winter - I expect its been flooded most of the time?

 

PM if required - though I'm not intrested in swims etc!

My experience of the Itchen - further up at Twyford - is that after flooding it stays high but looses its colour quickly - so I think you can expect a high clear river assuming no further rainfall. Good luck - can you get 5oz olivettes? M
