Great photos, the clarity in the coot is amazing. Are the corellas meant to have they red markings around the beak and eyes, they dont look too healthy :D

Thanks Andy, the red is natural. There was hundreds of them further up the river, noisy little bu@@ers as well.

Thought it might have been the mighty Murray ,we took one from Echuca for a week great fun and as you have shown great bird life .

The Kookabura corus in the evenings was awesome ,The radio check every moring was funny to esp when you are a radio novice and forget to press the send button whilst speaking

Thanks Steve, i never heard a kookabura and i was really looking forwards to hearing them.

The last time i was up the river in a friends shack the Kookas could always be heard, just them and the fish jumping

in the early mornings, magic.
