Quiver Tips

Hello

I used to have a quiver tip rod that had Full Coloured Quiver tips. I.e the tip was entirely white.

Do you know what style of tips these are because i would like to source these out. I found them to be good for my eye sight.

The Original John Wilson Avon quiver had a spliced in full on white quiver tip.

The latest ones have push in tips that are fully coloured.

If doing your own PTFE, tippex (does flake off) and paint all work or take a look in your tackle shop sea section as they should sell rod tip tape used on beachcasting rods.

But what about the Australian birds advice? (Couldn't resist :hypocrite: )

He reckons quiver tips are great for perching but I don't know if he means the fish or something to stand on.
