Older members will remember when v disgorgers were common those along with a few others ,i can remember a steel one with an open loop on it which was probably the two in most tackle bags

I like the barrel ones but i find my ali one has the groove facing you in use ( they are "sided") but the plastic ones have the groove opposite you which i find harder to use

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

Been using Exceed disgorger for about 2 years now, so pleased with it I wouldn't use any other now.

 

No need to twist line around it thanks to the way you place your line in the groove, it locks it in, in a way.

That's an annoyingly good disgorger I have to admit. A smaller one would be nice cos it's a little thick for dinky perch and mini roachlings but otherwise, there's little poking around. In and out.

I have both those disgorgers pictured Andy, the thicker one pictured was the one you used and the thinner one I snapped where the thinnest part meets the body of the disgorer. Pain in the arse cause I loved that one more.

 

Still got the thin tipped one and looking for suitably thin pen to araldite it in to.
