Not tried those Rik.I have tried Grand Max Riverge and it was certainly one of the better ones. Another very good hook length material that I found handy for both fly fishing and specimen fishing was once again aimed at fly anglers.It was Tortue Narcritta (not a fluro carbon but an early hi tech mono) In 5lb it was very fine (as fine as Maxima 2 1/2lb) and used with an 8lb mono mainline accounted for the bulk of my double figure bream.Not been able to get in for many years now.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
