i-r port

i have the facility to add a i-r port to my pc with a set of pins on my motherboard (as most have) but i cannot find one available to plug in ,an email to epox got the responce that they provide the facility but leave it to 3rd parties to provide the port ,i can buy an usb version for lots of money but would like to use my connector for little money ,anyone know a retailer ,local shops dont even know they exist :mad: but are happy to supply the expensive ones :mad:

or can anyone supply a circuit diagram of the led end ,i have a quantity of both recieve and transmitt i-r led`s
