Whats this ?

Cranfield

Recommended Posts

My friend (honest) gets a mesage when he starts his computer that "IGFXTRAY.EXE" is trying to connect to the Internet, his Firewall recommends he does not permit this connection.

I did a Search and found two files with this reference which were the same, except one had "reinstate" added to the end.

Both files are from the Intel Company.

I assume this is something to do with his processor, which is Intel.

Should he configure to permit pemanent access, or should he delete the files ?

Any ideas please ?

I only know about Zone Alarm, but I would have thought it would be easy to set up the firewall so that it doesn't display the message each time.

With ZA, you set up a tick (to allow), a question mark (to ask each time) or a cross (no access).
