not being able to log onto forums

I've installed McAfee security suit, which seems good, but I cannot access most forums.

 

When I click on the forum I want, nothing happens.

 

The only way into AN forums is by clicking on "whats new in the forums" on the home page.

When I recently tightened security on my browser by blocking lots of actions that had been allowed under 'medium' security, I ran into very similar behavior. I took the easy way out and added AN to my trusted sites and things worked again.
