  1. I've installed McAfee security suit, which seems good, but I cannot access most forums. When I click on the forum I want, nothing happens. The only way into AN forums is by clicking on "whats new in the forums" on the home page. Thanks in anticipation. Keith.
  2. Southwest Wales near Tenby. Keith
  3. There's a good area at Monorbier. Go down to the bay and you will find rocks on the left. Spinners, condoms, rapalas or rubber sandeels will all catch. You could also try a bass bandit or bass bullet, both which will cast a mile. Also there is a few sea trout around. Good fishing. Keith.
  4. Further to Steve's post, I would add that there has been barbel in the Erewash river since at least the late seventies, when I used to fish the small weirs behind the pond at Dockholme. Also there used to be a few in the canal, below the basin lock, probably transfered from the river, if anyone knows if they are still there,it would be interesting to know how they are adapting, as the ones I caught there were in excellent condition all those years ago. Good fishing. Keith.
  5. [ Walker also showed he was a fine angler too. Not only did he smash the then carp record out of sight, raising it from 31-04 to 44lbs in one go, but he also broke the rainbow trout record as well, and for good measure caught a record dace of 1-05 from the Cam on a fly. This was never claimed. Does anyone know if this was because it was caught out of season? Steve. Dick Walker never formaly applied for any record and even wanted his record carp taken off the list. This was because the record fish committee would not accept his rainbow of eighteen and a quater pounds because he had not formally applied for it. This to him was illogical and wrote to the committee "I therefore ask that the committee should reconsider its decision to retain the fish as the official record, and to accede to my request for it to be deleted from the record list" Taken from Angling May 1981 Good fishing, Keith.
