ie-spyad

I have been having an explore around my computer and have found some files referring to ie-spyad.

A Google search found out that its an anti spyware programme.

I already have AdAware and Spybot.

I didn't download ie-spyad, so where did it come from ?

It didn't appear with XP SP2, did it ?

Is it OK to delete it ?

Edited for poor spelling, due to stuttering fingers.

IE-spyad is a passive blocker. It puts a list of known bad sites on your PC so they can't do damage. Similar to Spywareblaster.

I'd keep it since it presents no danger and adds no system load. I'll normally recommend it and Spywareblaster for general protection and Ad-aware & Spybot to actively seek out and destroy things.
