E mail query

Recommended Posts

I have Outlook Express via Mailwasher.

A new problem has arisen.

If I have an email with a "link" in it, I cannot go to the site direct from OE.

I have to copy and paste the addresss in Google.

This occurs with any link, in any email.

This facility has always worked perfectly.

Is there an adjustment I can make in settings, or somewhere else, to recover this facility ?

Is it not a firewall stopping it?

No, but the problem is resolved after help from those nice people at windowsbbs.com .

It appears that when I installed (and uninstalled) Mozilla, it altered my email settings so that they didn't recognise Internet Explorer as my browser.

Although I uninstalled Mozilla, the interference remained.

It wasn't just a case of making IE the browser of choice again, I had to do a System Restore.

Fortunately, all systems are now operating correctly. :)
