Yakity & me have been setting up a new site over the last couple of weeks for UK Yakkers, it's a site of our own that will hopefully share all possible info for us loons, LOL It's ready to use now so come and have a look, give us ideas & lend a hand to build it up! We've set links back to here & any others we can find so don't worry about this excellent forum, we won't be going anywhere :D

Wish us luck!

Andy,

The security log on is a pain and confusing, I went to the sight 3 times before realising what you had to do it's not a very friendly welcome. :)

Also surprised that when searching you have the same name as AnglersAfloat "Kayak Fishing UK" not that I'm moaning.

Cheers for the Link

Good Luck :)

Im sure Elton and Anglers Net will offer thier blessing to the new site.

With the advancement of Kayak Fishing, it was expected that more sites would appear.

As with Angling sites, it gives people other reference points to look at and join in with.

There wont be a link posted untill Elton offers one, and is happy to do so.

The launch of the new site will not affect our loyalties to Anglers Net, hopefully the two sites will compliment each other.

It does take time to get used too as it's pretty secure & hi-tech PHP based site thats prone to bots & e-mail harvesters that nick your e-mail addy then u get spammed loads so you have to have security coded log-in nowadays unfortunately :(

I've disabled e-mail verification to make it easier & will disable the security code for now while poor Bill goes back to school & learns to use the site, he he.

Should be good for the UK & put us well on the map

Starvin I thought your site is called Anglers Afloat m8 I hope there's not a problem there, I'll check it out immediately, sorry if there's a problem there
