Online Dvd Rental

Hello All,

 

I have been considering joining one of these online DVD rental sites where you pay a monthly fee, and then they post the DVD's to you and you just post them back when you're done watching them.

 

Do any of you subscribe to such a site, and if you do is there any recommendations on the best ones.

i use screenselect,its £9.99per month for 1 at a time hire but as long as i select which films i want on thier website all i have to do is send the one i have back and they send the next one out.

 

 

very good service and easy to use website for adding to your hire lists

I'm undecided between Screenselect and Ilovefilm.com

 

Do screenselect send you the DVD's in the order that you added them to your list?

yep you put them in the select bit in an order of importance

 

 

like say i want creep first then ill stick it in the first set of boxes

 

1/now

2/soon

3/not bother'd

 

etc

they are very good!!!

watch out for trial periods they may have one you can try it out with as thats how i did mine.

btw they are very good with cons and the discs are top quality with little finger marks if any.

 

since i mention'd the fingers prints i have had 100% clean discs(impressed)

 

 

you get what you want everytime and you dont have to drive them back to blockbusters saving you even more in fuel.

taking the drive to blockys and adding the dvd and returning it the next day £4ish+£3.75ish+£4ish an d your looking at an expensive flick(depending how far blockys is etc)

Hi all

 

no probs mate have fun and you will have a trouble free service from them

 

 

they had a fire a few weeks back which bugger'd up some dvd's so if one finds you as it did me, tell them and send it right back and you will get a replacement very fast with no bother from them

 

they told me about the fire very quick and they were very appologetic considering it cannot be helped.

Similar services are offered by Blockbuster, CDWOW and Tesco. Check them out as well before you make a definate choice. Certanly strikes me as a better option than Sky movies, even if you already have the basic package.

Unfortunatly, none of them offer CD rental on the same kind of terms.

i didnt even know you could rent like screenselect untill i got an email from them offering me a trial so i went with it

i was planning on ending before the trial ended but liked it too much.

 

im all for an easylife
