Dont count your Chickens!

This week see's the Uk become a battle ground, there are some big lows heading from the Atlantic SW and at the same time a big High moves down from the North East across Scandanavia.

The UK is plum in the middle - which system will win is anyones guess, the west half of the UK could be wet and mild and the East half freezing cold but not even the weather guru's are sure.

Air and ground Temps plumeted here last night giving a very heavy frost on the East coast.

Tonight it will become misty then turn to freezing fog - nice!

Its getting lighter at nights as well , so more daylight each day is welcome , every day now is a bonus, who knows spring may just be

weeks away.

Spring salmon are now in our rivers.

I wonder if any of our frogs / toads will spawning soon in this unusually mild winter .

Dont know how or if it will affect spawning this year , will it make spawning better , Maybe a higher fry survival rate than usual.

Anyone seen any american signal cray fish recently ?
