Lure Fishing Cambridge

Supposed to be off Lure fishing with my Nephew on Friday. Will be only his 2nd time out fishing so would like somewhere where he is almost certain to catch but not gonna necessarily spoil him by catching too big a monster.

So basically we are looking for a day ticket or free water in the cambridge area which has plenty of jacks in it.

Anyone got any particular ideas?

Anywhere along the Cam should do you but I prefer the "Baits bite lock" to Clayhithe stretch which is out of town. Head towards a village called Milton and lock is signposted. It's a mile or so out of the village over the railway line. Cambridge Fish Preservation hold the fishing rights but not too sure how much a day ticket will set you back, why not check their website before you go.

One good reason to do something is better than a thousand bad excuses not to.
