Carp numbers are increasing on the Severn but locating them and then targeting them is difficult.

 

I remember about a year ago I was in Worcester city centre and looked over the bridge (River Severn) and saw a couple of enormous carp in the margins at the foot of the bridge. Not sure if fishing is allowed there though...probably not.

My biggerst carp fell to a lure as well, all 29lb of it.
