VERY VERY carefully made a 20 point turn...............

Know the feeling, having been in similar situations more than once - although if you counted the turns carefully you would have found they were either 19 or 21 Its amazing how many of my favourite fishing spots are reached by narrow tracks with no room to turn at the end.

 

I still remember driving up (and back down !!) the "Hill of Death" in Costa Rica - the road was narrow to start with, but in places half of it had fallen down the mountainside - but like you, I survived to tell the tale.

 

 

Since getting my Volvo AWD I have found that where I could make a three-pointer in my old Volvo 340, I now need 5 or even seven turns - even my campervan turns more easily,
