Thanks all for your comments, me and my mate had just moved swims 100yards or so further up and a lad who just turned up went were we had ben and within 5 mins he was in too !!! Little peved as he was in the exact same spot where I was fishing too and goes and catches a 15 and a 10 within half an hour !!! Exact same bait used yet I had nothing !!! Oh well next time I'll be ready and waiting. scales wise I thank you all for advice and may try out the spuds method or stones as have about 100k of them in the back waiting to be putdown on the edging of the yard

non taken andy, been after one for a while and just happy I finnaly got one on my list next a specimen 20+ that's supposed to be lurking around the same stretch Edited by Adam247
