I have sold quite a few things on Ebay and never had anything like that. Take the advice of almost everybody else and do not even reply to it. You may get a few other more insistent enquiries from this bloke but just ignore them as well and he will eventually get the message and move on.

Tell him you have a freind who is a police inspector In Lagos and that he would be able to arange delivery as a speacial favour via the state polices internal mail,this would be a ultra safe method of dielivery as it would be a police officer dellivering the parcell to the adress supplied. see what his reaction is

Definatly a scam guessing this is a sale on ebay, i had a message very similiar the other day.

DO NOT TELL THEM YOUR EMAIL AND REPORT THEM TO THE SITE

They will try to claim the money back by saying the item is not as described.
