A good person for him to contact would be Chris at wirrel sea fishing, he organises fishing events to raise money for charity so loads of experience there.

If you check out the Sea reports, there is usually a bit from the Braintree SAC, I think there is contact numbers on there, so they may be able to give you some pointers, they seem to go fishing along the East and South coast.
