Last Thursday Breamagain took a light rod and a few maggots to the Medway after Roach and whatever silver fish decided to show.

 

Result a 7lb 12oz Barbel on 4lb line, 14 barbless hook out of fast root infested water.

Andrew Boyd hoping to emulate my feat went on saturday and turfed out a 7lb 8oz spcimen.

 

It's all in the oz's !!!!!!

Tony , I didn't snap mine unfortunately but I know Andy has a shot of his fish , hopefully he'll put it up.

Middle Medway , though conditions on Sunday were almost unfishable !

When Dave fished last Thursday the river was low and sort of clear'ish. On Saturday the level had risen covering the normal swims and 8" short of where I was sitting. It was a dirty coffee colour and carring loads of debris. I had to re-cast every 10 mins to clear the line, much like fishing for Bass in a storm.

 

If I remember tonight I'll post a picture.
