Managed a 6" pollack on a J13 on sunday night, took it home and ate it all.

...nah, only joking I put it back. :P:D

I'd seen a couple of fish leap out of the water outside the harbour a couple of days previously and thought they were bass. However, whilst waiting for a boat on monday morning I discovered that they were actually mullet, as there was a shoal of them 100yds long about 20ft out! About 2 or 3 per minute would jump or splash which I have never seen before, and some of them were busters (6-10lb). After about 15 minutes of watching them a seal appeared and proceeded to hammer into the shoal for it's breakfast. We could see the seal twisting and turning underwater and forcing the mullet to leap out like fry being chased, it was just like watching the Blue Planet! The seal was obviously skilled as he'd surface with a large fish every time. Awesome experience, especially as we don't often see seals from the shore. :):)
