I've just picked one of these rods up brand new at a good price. Havn't used it yet, but it does look like a well built, quality rod.

 

Any one else the happy/unhappy owner of one of these?

I've heard some good reports about them. As with all tackle, it's what suits you and how you get on with it that matters, not what somebody else thinks.

Good point Norm, I did do some research before I parted with my cash, think they were launched by Daiwa in 2002.

 

I'll take it for a walk down the beach at the weekend with a 5oz lead and see how she performs.
